"77 Sunset Strip"
This is Edward's 1st of two appearances on the detective show produced by Warner Brothers. It featured a private eye, Stuart Bailey(Efram Zimbalist Jr.) who later joined forces with another detective, Jeff Spence(Roger Smith). They had an agency on the strip. The show mirrored another WB detetcive show, "Surfside6" which featured a group of P.I.'s in Miami. Edward guest starred on this show too. Both shows were so alike, in this "77 Sunset Strip" episode, the instrumental music used to underscore the scenes was the exact same music used in Edward's "Surfside6" episode. Seen here, he plays rich man turned poor Mr. Jacobin, visibly shaken up when his daughter Laura(Janet Lake) is kidnapped by some artists in Paris. In this scene, he waits for the contact person. Jacobin has asked Det. Stuart Bailey to help but at the same time he learns the artists plan to switch a rare Renoir with a fake.

Adding to the mix: a man-eating mountain lion that's on the loose.
